The Greater Laurel Beltsville Democratic Club May Kick-Off Event

On May 31, the Greater Laurel Beltsville Democratic Club (GLBDC) held its kick-off event at Chido's Restaurant with speaker Democratic Party Chair Kathleen Matthews as host. The GLBDC had a great turnout with over 80 people from the community in attendance along with elected officials. The GLBDC is excited to have such a strong following, and the club hopes that many more constituents from the community join for more events.

Since the 1950's, the GLBDC has been the community's leading Democratic organization. Every year, members work to elect Democrats from the courthouse to the White House. We plan to support the community with town halls, forums, meet-and-greets, and many more functions. We want the community to come out and discuss what is going on in the political arena.

Please follow us on Facebook @GLBDC and sign up on our website to volunteer and to be placed on our mailing list at http://www.glbdc.org/volunteer. Keep an eye out for our August event, which will be listed on our website. The club would also like to thank District 21 for their full support.
