Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 11416 Cedar Lane, will be hosting a back-to-school cookout for its neighbors and the community on Sunday, August 26, from 2–4 pm. There will be free food, activities for children, music, and more. Church members will also hand out school supplies to area students (first come, first served). If it rains, the event will be moved indoors. So come on out, bring your friends, bring your children, and bring your family to this wonderful and free event.
