The Beltsville Citizens Association next meeting will be on Wednesday, November 20, at 7 pm. We meet at Beltsville Academy, 4300 Wicomico Avenue.
Bureau of Printing and Engraving Possible Move to Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC)
The Bureau of Printing and Engraving is looking at 100 acres off of Powdermill Road. Chuck Davis from the Bureau of Printing and Engraving will give a presentation on the project. Tom Massog, the traffic planner for the MNCPPC Planning Department, will also be there to discuss proposed transportation projects near the site.
The holidays are just around the corner. Consider having packages shipped to your office or a neighbor who is home during the day. Amazon also offers several secure locations close to Beltsville as well.
Rear vehicle tags are being stolen, be sure to check tags. If they are stolen, immediately file a police report. Remember: "If you see something...report something." Call 911 for suspicious criminal activity, and call 311 to receive general information about Prince George's County Government programs and services. If you think a home is a rental property you can also call 311. Landlords are required to have a rental license and have the home inspected before they can rent.
Officer Fraser, the COPS officer for Beltsville, was recognized as the Cops Officer for the 3rd Quarter of 2019.
