Back-to-school shopping means a new start for children in grade school, teens heading off to college or even busy professionals back in the office after summer vacation. It’s a time-honored tradition to refresh your look before celebrating the milestone of another year gone, another grade entered.

This year, Bowie Town Center is helping the community by offering a School Supply Drive and Shredding Event.

“We’re thrilled to offer opportunities for families to find everything they need to return to school and Arrive in Style,” Deonna Davis, Marketing Director, Bowie Town Center. “Bowie Town Center is the perfect one-stop destination for all of your back to school necessities.”

In a matter of weeks thousands of children will be heading back to school and many of them without the tools they need to succeed. Here’s a chance to do a little something to help. Join WHUR, FedEx and Briar Patch Shredding and Recycling on Saturday, August 5thfrom 9am to 12pm at the Bowie Town Center as we host a back to school supply drive and shredding event. Drop off school supplies for children in need and get up to four boxes of your unwanted documents shredded for free. It’s that’s easy.
