Lucille Velasco passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at the age of 93. Lucille is survived by her sons, Terry Velasco of Annapolis and Dean Loren of New York; daughter-in-law Bonnie Velasco; three grandchildren, Tim Velasco, Dru Sanderson, and Darren Velasco; and great grandchildren Olivia and Jax Sanderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Velasco, and eldest son, Jamie Velasco.
As a longtime resident of Beltsville since the 1950's, Lucille had the great pleasure of having many friends and knowing many families. The family would like to especially thank her girlfriends and neighbors, many of whom are longtime Beltsville residents, who made her life fulfilling.
Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery on August 7, 2019, where she will join her husband, James Velasco.
Lucille would want to remind everyone to donate to the Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department.
