Cub Pack 1031 and wonderful members of the community showed up on April 22nd for Earth Day 2023 cleanup! We had 18 volunteers from Pack 1031 and seven volunteers who just showed up to help us clean up trash from the park! And this year we could have walk up volunteers- 6 of our volunteers were walkups. Come join us next year!
We collected 15 bags of trash and 12 bags of recyclables. This year we counted what brands of water bottles were found in the park. There were 17 Kirkland bottles, 6 Acadia and 2 Deer Park and 12 that had no label. Please remember to recycle your water bottles and not leave them in the park. Or even better bring your own reusable water container!
We also found only 2 wheels but no tires, which is better? Please remember to take your trash and recyclables to the trash bins at either end of the park.
