The Beltsville Women’s Club

The Beltsville Women’s Club has been busy. This year the Club contributed tools and labor to Frances Fuchs Earth Day celebration. We helped paint raised containers and weeded a garden. And as usual, we cleaned trash from Montgomery Road in our Adopt A Road project. We are planning our 100th Anniversary celebration for October 9, 2022. Any women interested in participating can contact us at WomensclubBeltsville@gmail.com.

On Friday May 27th, the Beltsville Seventh-day Adventist church had one more food distribution event. Done by the Beltsville Adventist Community Center (BACC) in coordination with the PG county food bank, they gave out approximately 500 county food boxes at a drive through at church parking lot. This is approximately the 30th event held by BACC. due to the impending storm the event started at 10:30 AM, a bit early, and finished about 1:30 just before the storm hit. there is always food available at the Beltsville Adventist Community Center for those in need. All thanks go to Pastor Sifa Potouaine for his dedication to the needy.
