Community Garden at The Good Knight Castle

The Good Knight Castle in Beltsville is starting a community garden. They are planning to share the produce from the garden with neighbors who may be experiencing tough times and food insecurity. On April 25th they got a boost from some wonderful volunteers. In celebration of Earth Day 2021 and National Youth Service Day, volunteers from all over MD, DC, and PA came to help with the gardens. They would like to give thanks to @HersheyCompany, @YouthServiceAmerica, #GYSD21, and #HeartwarmingProject for the $500 Grant that @MichaelaWest and Leah Robinson wrote enabling them to create a sustainable garden for the community. Sharing veggies, fruits and herbs this summer will be a snap! Thanks also goes to the Home Depot who is supporting them with a donation of needed supplies. You can contact the Good Knight Castle with questions at 301.595.8989 or on their website at https://goodknight.org/contact/
