The Community Was Out In Force at the 2026 National Night Out!

Beltsville residents came together on August 4 for an evening of food, fellowship, and community spirit during this year’s National Night Out celebration at the Beltsville Library and Police Station.

The highlight of the evening was the recognition of Cpl. Hibbert and Cpl. Jones upon their retirement. The Beltsville community is grateful for their many years of dedicated service and for the commitment they have shown to the people they served. We wish them both the very best as they begin this new chapter in their lives.

The evening would not have been possible without the many people and organizations who helped make it a success. A special thank you goes to all of the food vendors who provided refreshments and helped create a festive atmosphere throughout the event.

We also extend our appreciation to the many community organizations that participated. Their presence showcased the wide variety of groups, programs, and resources that serve Beltsville and demonstrated what can be accomplished when our community works together.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Beltsville. National Night Out is about building relationships, strengthening neighborhoods, and bringing people together, and the wonderful turnout on August 4 showed just how much community spirit Beltsville has.

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, served, and stopped by. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the people who make Beltsville a community we are proud to call home.
