Members of the Beltsville Lions Club participated in the Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department’s Fire Fest celebration on 28 October. Lions Michael and Deedee Musachio were key to the club’s involvement. Michael cooked hundreds of hotdogs for attendees while Deedee was kept busy with an information table and acquiring more food for attendees as supplies dwindled. They were joined by Lions Camillo DiCamillo and Ann & Ted Ladd.
District Governor Chris Wooters paid an official visitation to the club on the evening of 1 November. Wooters told the club of his orientation toward helping others in need. His discussion had impact. In fact, one in attendance decided to join the club, and we are happy to welcome Linda Rossi as a new member. Linda’s sponsor is Lion Karen Coakley.
Club members will meet on December 6 at their annual holiday party. Club members wish everyone a very happy holiday season and a Happy New Year of 2024.
