Cub Pack 1031 ended the summer with a Raingutter Regatta and are ready to welcome new scouts at our second Join Scouting event on September 30! We will have games, competitions, nature, make a flag to take home and lots of fun. We have new opportunities for families to apply for financial help from the local area council.
We are so proud that all of our active scouts earned their rank this past year. And eight scouts earned their summertime activity pin!! Other scouts had a great summer traveling!
This year we begin an updated revised program and look forward to exploring it. We learn outdoor skills, citizenship, STEM, nature and do community service. We also do biking and hiking outdoors.
If you are interested in Cub Scouts, contact Regina Halper at Pack1031cubscouting@gmail.com for information. We are a family scouting unit. During the school year we meet at Beltsville Academy for our den meetings and in the summer we meet twice a month in the parks.
