Emmanuel United Methodist Church would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and supported the church's annual Community Yard Sale on Saturday, June 13.
The event brought together neighbors, families, local organizations, and visitors from throughout the area for a day of fellowship, bargain hunting, and community spirit. From household treasures and unique finds to homemade baked goods and lunch offerings, the yard sale provided something for everyone while helping strengthen connections within the Beltsville community.
The church is especially grateful to the many volunteers who spent countless hours collecting donations, organizing merchandise, preparing food, setting up displays, assisting shoppers, and cleaning up after the event. Their dedication and hard work made the day possible.
A special thank-you is also extended to the volunteers and supporters of Beltsville Community Cats, whose participation helped raise awareness of their ongoing efforts to care for and advocate for community cats throughout the area. Their presence added another meaningful dimension to the event and highlighted the importance of neighbors working together to support both people and animals in our community.
Emmanuel United Methodist Church has long been committed to serving the Beltsville community through worship, outreach programs, community events, and partnerships with local organizations. Events such as the annual yard sale help strengthen those relationships while providing a welcoming space for neighbors to connect.
The church looks forward to continuing its mission of service and hospitality and hopes to welcome everyone back for next year's Community Yard Sale.
On behalf of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and Beltsville Community Cats, thank you for making this year's event a wonderful success.
