COLLEGE PARK, Md— University of Maryland Choral Activities presents the 24th annual Festival of Lessons and Carols on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at 8 p.m. at the University of Maryland’s Memorial Chapel in College Park, Md. The festival is modeled after the historic Christmas Eve tradition presented by King's College of Cambridge, which is broadcast by National Public Radio.

Conductors Kenneth Elpus, Eric Beomjin Kim, Kevin Crouch, Michael Hudlin, Trevor Tran, and Julie Huang Tucker will lead host choirs UMD Treble Choir, Tactus, and the University Chorale along with Festival Organ and Brass. Guest performers include student-led vocal ensembles Voix de Chanson and Freunde Music, plus the Glorystar Children’s Chorus. Readers from the university and community will join the artists, and audience participation is encouraged during performances of traditional Christmas carols.

Tickets are $25 for general admission, $15 for senior (62+) tickets, and $10 for students and youth. Call 301-405-2787 or visit:
