Updated: Sep 26, 2021

Councilmember Dernoga and Chief of Staff Michelle García, with team members, Nicole Ríos and Andrew Jacobson at Community Dumpster and Shred Day.

Beltsville Community Dumpster and Shred Day

Thank you to the residents who came out for our Beltsville Community Dumpster and Shred Day in August. The event was a great success. We provided reusable grocery bags and over 500 facemasks to residents. We collected over five thousand pounds of items for the dump and almost six thousand pounds of shredded paper. A special thanks to Corporal Kenneth Hibbert and the Police Explorers from Post 600 who came out to make this day possible.
