Holiday Food & Gift Program 2021 By Karen Coakley, WCCB Fundraising Chairperson

Updated: Dec 31, 2021

The Women’s Community Club of Beltsville is again coordinating our holiday food and gift programs as well as fundraising for our other important projects such as a College Scholarship, the Adopt–A–Road Program, the Beltsville Beautification Project, and the Teachers’ Appreciation Events. There are times during the year when a family has reached out to us in a crisis situation. We would like to be in a position to help them as well. We hope you can assist us in these worthwhile endeavors.

We purchase gift cards from Aldi’s at Thanksgiving. At Christmas, we provide presents for children. We accept new toys and new clothes for children as well as monetary contributions and store gift cards. If buying a gift card, we suggest one of the following: Target, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, Kohls, Aldi’s, Shopper’s, Walmart, Visa, or Mastercard. You or your organizations are welcome to sponsor a family. As a certified 501© 3 organization, all contributions are tax deductible. A list of donors will be publicized in the January Beltsville News unless you prefer to remain anonymous. Donations can be made thru PayPal by using our email address: WomensClubbeltsville@gmail.com. Monetary contributions and gift cards can be mailed to:

The deadline for receiving your Thanksgiving donations is Thursday, November 18th and the Christmas deadline is Friday, December 10th. Contact Karen Coakley at 301-741-7672 or Karenmcoakley@gmail.com with questions and/or to schedule a pick up or delivery time of your donation. We all know there are Beltsville families who are less fortunate. Thank you for helping us “spread a little sunshine” during the holidays and throughout the year.
