The Prince George’s County Police Department is inviting local businesses, organizations, and vendors to take part in National Night Out 2026, a community-building event designed to strengthen relationships between residents, businesses, and law enforcement.

This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, with vendor setup beginning at 5:00 p.m. Participation is being offered free of charge, providing local businesses with an opportunity to showcase their products and services while supporting a positive community event.

National Night Out is an annual nationwide initiative that promotes community partnerships and neighborhood engagement. Organizers say the event will feature activities and entertainment for all ages while encouraging residents to connect with one another and with local public safety officials.

Participating businesses and organizations will have the opportunity to:

·         Build relationships within the community

·         Showcase their business or services

·         Support efforts to create a safer, stronger community

·         Participate in a family-friendly event designed to bring neighbors together

The event is being coordinated by the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Beltsville District VI Station. Those interested in participating as a vendor or seeking additional information may contact PFC Alvelo at Joalvelo@co.pg.md.us, A/SGT Hibbert at Kchibbert@co.pg.md.us, or call the Beltsville District VI Station at 301-937-0910.

Organizers encourage interested vendors to reserve their space early and help make National Night Out 2026 a successful celebration of community spirit and partnership.
