Women’s Club of Beltsville Keeping Our Community Clean!
The Women’s Community Club of Beltsville (WCCB) cleaned trash on Montgomery Road from Route 1 to Sellman Road as a part of the Adopt-A-Road project in October. WCCB remains active in spite of the pandemic. Women who are interested in joining them should contact WCCB at womensclubbeltsville@gmail.com.
Holiday Food, Gift & Fund-Raising Program 2020 The Women’s Community Club of Beltsville
WCCB is coordinating our annual holiday food and gift programs as well as fund raising for our other important projects. We are asking Beltsville businesses, schools, service organizations, social clubs, churches, and individuals to help us provide food and gifts to needy families within our community for the holidays as well as funds for our other important projects. There are times during the year when a family has reached out to us in a crisis. We would like to be able to help them as well. We hope you can assist us in these worthwhile endeavors.
At Christmas, we not only provide a holiday meal, we also provide presents for children. We accept non-perishable food, new toys, and new clothes for children. Monetary contributions, store gift cards are also appreciated. You or your organizations are welcome to sponsor a family. As a certified 501 © 3 organization, all contributions are tax deductible. A list of donors will be publicized in the January Beltsville News unless you prefer to remain anonymous. Monetary contributions and gift cards can be mailed to Women’s Community Club of Beltsville, PO Box 1607 Beltsville, MD, 20705.
