John H. Follin

John H. Follin, a longtime resident of Beltsville, MD., passed away at the age of 77, on April 1, 2026. John was born in Washington, DC, January 5, 1949 to Herman ("Hoppy") Follin and Barbara (Bobbi) Follin.

John had a heart for children and animals which always brought a smile to his face. An avid Redskins fan, he looked forward to every game. 

John was a 1970 graduate of High Point High School. He was employed with Gichner Iron Works in Beltsville for many years, then went on to work for Maryland Park and Planning. He was also a proud honorary member of Beltsville Fire Dept. for many years.

John is survived by his four siblings, Lori (Craig), Russell (Liz), Andy (Carole), and Kimberly, as well as seven nieces and nephews.
