Owners of Calverton Grocery Outlet Raise Money for Local Non-Profit

The owners of Calverton Grocery Outlet, Thomas and Sharon Procida, along with their customers were able to raise $1300 for The Rainbow Community Development Center in Silver Spring.

            According to their website (https://www.rainbowcdc.org/) the Rainbow Community Development Center’s mission is to to build better lives for those in need through Safety Net Services: Emergency Food Pantry, Eviction Prevention, Prevention of Utility Cutoff, and Temporary Emergency Shelter.

            It’s wonderful seeing local businesses give back as part of their presence in the community.
