George C. Humphrey (82) passed away on July 20 after a brief illness. Son of the late Thomas C. and Ruth B. Humphrey; brother of Robert T Humphrey (Doris). and the late Bill Humphrey; uncle of Gary Humphrey (Loriann), Donald Humphrey (Lynn), niece Sherry Ventura (Wilson), Joseph and Paul Humphrey. He is also survived by one great niece and many great nephews. Funeral services were held at the Borgwardt Funeral Home, 4400 Powder Mill Road Beltsville, MD on Monday, July 24, at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend Jacob Young officiating. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department, 4911 Prince Georges Ave, Beltsville, MD 20705.
