The Beltsville Citizens Association will meet on Wednesday, September 20, at 7 pm. The citizens association meets at Beltsville Academy, 4300 Wicomico Avenue. This will be our first meeting for the 2017–2018 year.
Two development proposals will be presented. Behnke's Nursery on Route 1 will share its proposal for future development of its property. The second presentation will be from Wyndam Hotels for a project along Rhode Island Avenue across from Bank of America.
Crime in Beltsville: theft from autos continues to be the biggest problem. Please remove valuables from your car. In addition, lock your car and park in a lighted area.
