Longtime Beltsville resident; husband of 43 years to Theresa (Baldwin) Williams; father of Charles Bryan and wife, Marcia, and Richard Celle and wife, Rebecca; grandfather of Elizabeth Pryor and husband, William (Billy), and Thomas Bryan Williams; great grandfather of Hailie, Cecilia, Leilani, and Quintin; brother of Joan Krob, Janet Slaby, and husband, Thomas, Paul Williams and wife, Barbara; brother-in-law of Erma Heim and husband, Patrick Heim; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Charlie was an inventor and entrepreneur who held several patents. He was a man that enjoyed his life, his machine shop, his books, and his front porch. He was very interested in steam engines, and photography. He loved to talk shop and anything Navy. While he served in the Navy, he traveled to 17 countries and 23 ports. He was an active member of NRA, IIA, and the Miniature Arms Society. He was a master in drafting and made several 1/3 scale replica miniature guns. Charlie truly was a unique person and will be missed by all that knew him. Burial will be private.
