I have received questions about the “Democratic Candidate Forums.” We will be hosting another event in the fall. The three candidates with the most votes in each party will move forward to the general election in November. There are 2 Republican Candidates and one "Unaffiliated" candidate for the House of Delegates for District 21. They automatically move forward to the general election. There are six Democratic candidates. The 3 with the highest votes will move forward to the general election. We fully intend to invite all who will be on the November ballot to a forum this fall. 2018 is an election year; Please take the time to learn about the candidates. The primary is June 26th.
I hope to see you at the various community meetings in May and June. Don’t forget Beltsville Day on Sunday, May 20th at the Beltsville Community Center. Remember to bring a friend, bring a neighbor. If you have questions or concerns contact me at 301.937.3490 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
