The "Bull Pen" July 2019

The Beltsville Bulls 10U, 12U, and 15U baseball teams

The Bull’s spring teams are headed to the playoffs! I am happy to report that all the teams have made it, including 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U flag football and 10U and 12U baseball. The 12U coed baseball team went into the tournament as the 2nd seed. Their first-round game was quite the nail-biter and went into double overtime. After playing for three hours (typically games are a max of 2 hours), 12U lost but ended the season with pride and integrity! The 10U coed baseball was also eliminated in the first round but showed significant improvement. The 15U baseball season runs May–July. Flag football’s playoff games will occur while the paper is in publishing, so you’ll have to wait until the August edition of the Bull Pen to learn the outcomes. Let’s Go Bulls!!!!

We want to thank all of the businesses, organizations, and individuals who donated money to the banner fundraiser for the t-ball and baseball program, including the following community members: Gold Sponsors: Borchers Mechanical Services; Silver Sponsors: The Beltsville Pharmacy, Donald V.
