The first meeting of the 2019–2020 year will be on Wednesday, September 18 at 7 pm at Beltsville Academy. If you have a specific concern that you would like to have answered that night, please call or email me by September 12. We will have several items on the agenda:
-A presentation on a proposed Wawa next to Ikea and the Holiday Inn on Rte. 1
-Officer Fraser, the COPS officer for Beltsville, will be our guest along with a representative from the Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement. They will talk about what to do if you are having problems with trash being dumped in your neighborhood and what projects you need a permit for.
Coffee with COPS will be held on Wednesday, September 18 from 11-noon at the Calverton McDonald's, and Senior Coffee with COPS will take place on September 5 at the Laurel Senior Center, 7120 Contee Rd, Laurel, MD 20707.
Future meetings will be on October 16 and November 20, 2019 and March 18, April 15, and May 20, 2020. (January 15, February 19, and June 17 meetings are as needed and weather permitting.)
