Emmanuel United Methodist Church Feeds Those in Need During Time of Crisis

Updated: Jun 26

Even though the doors may be closed for worship, that didn’t stop Emmanuel United Methodist Church on Cedar Lane from gathering to hand out bags of food to those who are in need. On March 28, several volunteers met at the church at 7:30 am to begin to set up for the drive-through distribution. It was pouring down rain, so the volunteers set up tents so that members of the community could drive up and receive a free bag of groceries. They were able to hand out 106 bags. It was a nice reminder that we are all in this together.
