Lions Club members from around Lions Clubs International District 22-C gathered at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Beltsville on Saturday, 18 April, to hone their skills in using equipment to screen vision, hearing, and eye pressure abnormalities. The effort was organized by Mike Bigler, Past District Governor of District -22, and currently President of the Lions Community Outreach Foundation. Vision screening training was conducted in the hospitality room of the church; while hearing and eye pressure training took place in the District’s Mobile Health Unit that was parked nearby.

District 22-C encompasses Lions Clubs in Washington, D.C. and the Maryland Counties of Montgomery, Prince Geoge’s, Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s.
