Beltsville Young at Heart by Lois Hamilton

I think everyone enjoyed our Feb. 16 meeting with its Valentine theme. We had light refreshments, music by “Rearview Mirror” duet, and especially the Valentine gifts.

Our March 16 meeting will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. “Goody Measure” will entertain with Irish music and sing-along. Remember to wear green. We’ll have any extra hour of sunlight, so we’ll have refreshments, 50/50, trips to sign up for, but no gifts.

Our April 20 meeting will celebrate spring with the barbershop quartet “Now or Never” entertaining us.

We still have our meetings on the third Thursday of each month at 11:00 am at Beltsville Community Center at 3900 Sellman Road, Beltsville. Hope you can join us. For more information, call me at 301-498-9736.

Remember, no winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn. (Hal Barlang)
