Deegan Receives Award
The National Association of Credit Union Supervisory and Auditing Committees (NACUSAC) has granted Charles C. Deegan of Beltsville its annual Golden Service Award in recognition of his outstanding service, dedication and leadership in the Supervisory Committee and the Credit Union Community. Deegan received his award in San Francisco on June 15, 2000, during NACLUSAC's annual convention.
Deegan has served as Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for the Prince George's County Employees Federal credit Union for five years. He was nominated for the honor by members of his Supervisory Committee. Deegan attributes both his success as Chairman and his receipt of the award as indicative of the strong support he receives from members of his committee.
In addition to his credit union duties, Deegan is the treasurer of the Board of Trustees at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Beltsville and is the Republican Member of the Prince George's County Board of Elections. He is presently employed as the Fleet Management Manager in the Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation.
