Updated: Nov 3

Scouts building their rockets to launch at Stomp rocket station at Pack 1031 Join Scouting Event

Cub Pack 1031 had their Join Scouting event on September 17th. We did our Stomp Rocket launch with paper rockets. We also “raced” like kangaroos, crabs, frogs, and inchworms! We learned Leave No Trace rules with hand signs and had fun getting to know new families.

This summer we hiked and biked, launched rockets at Goddard Visitors Center, worked on STEM NOVA achievements- flying paper airplanes and raced balloon Raingutter boats.

It is not too late to join just contact Regina Halper at Pack1031cubscouting@gmail.com for information. We are a family scouting unit. We learn outdoor skills, citizenship, STEM, nature and do service. We look forward to having another fantastic year!! We are back in Beltsville Academy for our den meetings though we will be camping, doing service and hiking in the outdoors. We are mask optional and still cautiously progressing toward regular meetings.
