On November 13, beginning at 9:00 am, the College Park Christmas Bazaar will open for business. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity to do your Christmas shopping early, you will have plenty to choose from. The bazaar will run until 3:00pm and there will be food for sale, as well as games, door prizes, and all kinds of fun to be had. This will all take place at the American Legion located at 9218 Baltimore Ave. Come one come all and see what treasures await you. This is an opportunity to support local business as well as to select special gifts for your loved ones while having a grand time doing so.
Another first for College Park American Legion is taking place on November 14 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. FIDOS for FREEDOM, an annual doggone good show with The Nighthawks with special guest star, Daryl Davis. The cost is only $20. Doors open at 4:00 pm and live music starts at 5:00 pm. Food will be available for purchase in addition to a cash bar, door prizes, and a 50/50 raffle. Come and join us in supporting Fidos for Freedom, a most worthwhile organization that benefits so many wounded soldiers.
A special thank you to all in the community who participated in our school supplies drive for Hollywood Elementary School. We delivered two car loads of supplies, including face masks, hand sanitizers, Lysol wipes, tissues, and a case of copy paper as well as the usual school suppls. The school greatly appreciates our yearly support of their students.
