Little Paint Branch Trail Community Cleanup Saturday, October 2, 2021

Updated: Nov 2, 2021

The Little Paint Branch October 2020 fall cleanup Come join us!!

Cub Pack 1031 is hosting a cleanup along Little Paint Branch Trail on Saturday October 2, 2021 (Rain date: Saturday, October 9, 2021) as part of our obligation as Adopt a Trail Sponsors for the trail. The Cleanup will run from 9 AM to 12 Noon.

We would love to invite the community to join us so we can remove all the trash and get the trail ready for fall colors.

We will be set up at “Old Rec” Beltsville Neighborhood Park– the northern end of the trail because of the football game crowds by the community center. Please bring gloves, apply bug spray, wear a hat, long sleeves, and pants. Also wear sturdy shoes and long socks to pull over your pants to protect against bugs and scratches. Also bring a mask for when you are around other people especially our scouts.

We will provide trash bags and trash removal. We will have water available, but no individual water bottles they are the most collected trash in the park. So, bring your own water bottle and refill.

For any questions: contact Regina Halper Pack1031cubscouting@gmail.com

High school students: We can sign off for student service hours for your hard-earned service. Please bring your filled-in service verification forms.
