Hill, Harry D.

Harry D Hill, 61 (formally of Beltsville Md) passed away suddenly at his home in Lewes, DE on April 11,2021.

Harry was born on March 15, 1960 in Washington DC to the late James and Mildred Hill. He graduated High Point high school class of 78 and went on to be a sheet metal mechanic working all over the metro area. Family and friends were the most important to him and he enjoyed spending time with them whenever he could.

Growing up, he and his buddies were inseparable. He loved the outdoors and watching sports. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, cookouts, and campfires and especially kayaking with orphan Annie. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing especially Davy Allison and Mark Martin. Harry also loved the University of Maryland football and basketball teams as well as the Washington Redskins.

When he wasn’t watching sports, he loved to watch Western movies, Tombstone was his favorite, and re-runs, especially Seinfeld. He was always good for a laugh, telling jokes to anybody and everyone he met. His quick wit and sense of humor will always be remembered. He was a generous person with a kind heart, always helping others, he would give you the shirt off his back.

He is survived by three Brothers, Paul Hill of Dagsboro, DE, Aubrey Doss of Waldorf ,MD, James Doss of Rustburg, VA, his companion Robin L Burns of Lewes DE, his former spouse Donna Hill of Beltsville, MD, and several nieces, nephews, and friends he cherished. The most important though was his dog Annie, whom he left behind. She would not let Harry out of her sight.
