Restoration House International of Beltsville, Maryland Celebrates Its 12th Anniversary!

Updated: Apr 30, 2021

BELTSVILLE, MD - Restoration House International, the multicultural contemporary church located in the heart of the Beltsville community will celebrate its 12th anniversary with a virtual service on Easter Sunday, April 4th at 10:00 a.m.

Special celebration activities will begin on March 28th (Palm Sunday) and will continue throughout the week leading up to Easter.

Since its founding in 2009, Restoration House continues to meet the needs of the Beltsville community, the DC Metropolitan area and beyond with ministries that strengthen families, heal broken lives, and restore faith among those who may have lost it along life’s journey. Restoration House officially opened its doors in Beltsville in June 2012 when the ministry acquired and renovated its current facility at 4600 Powder Mill Road.

“Restoration House has always focused its ministry efforts on serving our community--wherever that may have been. It’s amazing to see a ministry that began with three members huddled together in Bible study, now blossom into what it has become today. But even from the beginning, we made a decision to ensure that our ministry would always incorporate some form of community service and involvement so we never would become so internally focused, that we neglect the very reason we exist. Meeting the needs of others is not an afterthought, it drives the very core of our ministry.”

Since then, Restoration House has actively served the community through several ministries including but not limited to youth mentoring, AIDS/HIV education and prevention programs, college-campus outreach events, nursing home visitations, homeless relief, and prison outreach partnerships. The church also launched its Deaf Ministry in 2017 to offer sign language interpretation during all church services and activities.

In 2018, Restoration House International began partnering with foreign mission teams in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa, to deliver supplies and clothing items in underserved areas.

After the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 global pandemic in March 2020, Restoration House quickly pivoted to expand its online worship services by way of Facebook, and YouTube, and Zoom.

Restoration House also expanded its community service activities by partnering with the Share Food Network each month to distribute groceries to families in need.

We hope you will join us for our 12th Anniversary service on Easter Sunday April 4th.
