Our December 21, 2023, meeting was “outstanding.” Our only entertainment, after eating our “goodie sweets,” was picking out a Christmas present that a member had brought and wrapped. They were allowed to switch gifts in the “Crazy Santa” game, but few people changed, and kept what they had drawn. We had a couple of gifts left over that we will sell at our January 18 meeting on our “Ways & Means” table.
Our entertainment in January will be born and raised Beltsville native, Johnny Seaton. He has a great voice and presence, and we are sure our ladies will especially enjoy him. We’ll have our usual 50/50, snacks and food, and Shirley D. will have a list of upcoming trips in 2024, which will not start till March. January and February are too “iffy” because of the weather, which most of us know about.
I already have entertainment for February, March, and April. I’m so glad that the weather forecasts will be brighter in those months. Hope more people will come out and see what our group is about. You only have to be 55 years old. Don’t have to live in Beltsville. Can join the first meeting if you want. And just like to enjoy good senior fun and fellowship.
