The Beltsville Young At Heart Club September 2025

I made a mistake with our entertainment for our August 21 and September 18 meetings. August was a speaker from the Prince Gorges Police on “Senior Scams”.  A subject I think all of us are considered about, despite our ages.

The September 18 meeting will have singer, Steve Flynn, bringing melodies from Frank Sinatra and others from his era. Our first time listening to Steve, so it should be entertaining.

Our October 16 entertainment is a new bluegrass/country group that I’m looking forward to hearing for the first time. We know several of their members, but not the new venue.

November will be our Anniversary potluck on Nov. 20, a week before Thanksgiving, and December 18 will be an interesting “Santa Bingo” game with prizes. I’m working on January 2026, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

We will continue with our monthly light refreshments, 50/50 chances, trip sign-ups, Ways & Means table (“Good stuff cheap”), and friendly conversations.

We are meeting on the third Thursday of each month (except July) at the Beltsville Community Center, 3900 Sellman Road in Beltsville, Maryland. I start the business meeting at 10:30 am and the speakers/entertainment starts at 11:00 am. We usually finish by noon-12:30 pm.
