Exciting news, the Women's Community Club of Beltsville is celebrating our 100th Anniversary! Maud Dann formed the club in 1922. Why, you ask? Maud's husband was a member of the newly formed Citizen's Association. Maud asked if she could join and she was told “No, the Citizen's Association was for men only." Maud did not like the answer, so she invited 40 women from Beltsville to join her in creating the Women's Community Club of Beltsville. Our Motto is In Essentials, Unity: in nonessentials, Liberty: In all things, Charity.
Please join us as we begin the next 100 years. Our October meeting will be on Thursday October 13th at 7:00 p.m. We meet at the Beltsville Boys and Girls Club, 11705 Roby Avenue, Beltsville, Maryland.
