Beltsville Day is May 18th!

The Beltsville Lions Club Foundation is sponsoring Beltsville Day with MNCPPC Parks & Recreation Prince George’s County, Beltsville Community Center. Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 18th 2025. Noon to 4 pm Beltsville Community Center 3900 Sellman Road.
Beltsville Day will open with the National Anthem, and a presentation of the Flags by Beltsville Police Explorer Post 600 Color Guard. Beltsville Lions Club will offer free vision, hearing, and eye pressure screenings in the air-conditioned Lions Mobile Health Unit. There will be a variety of free games and activities for children of all ages. Roving entertainers include a magician, balloon twister, and mime. Beltsville’s theatrical group “Upstage Artist” will perform. A DJ will be onsite to spin your favorite tunes. Exhibitions from the scouts and local karate are also planned.

There will be numerous food options to satisfy hungry appetites. The Lions Club plans to sell a bag lunch consisting of an All-Beef Hot Dog, small bag of chips and a bottle of water. Other organizations will have food offerings as well: Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department, and Police Explorers Post 600.
A Shuttle Bus will pick guests up at Beltsville Academy 4300 Wicomico Avenue or Frances Fuchs Early Childhood Center 11011 Cherry Hill Road. There is limited "accessible parking" at Beltsville Community Center.
